Here’s what to do
If you are out of oil and need an emergency fuel delivery, contact us right away at (631) 779-2716. If you still have oil but no heat, try the following before our truck arrives:
- Check your thermostat to make sure the temperature is set high enough to trigger the heating system.
- Locate the emergency shutoff switch (usually near the basement stairs or next to the heating system) and make sure it’s on.
- Check the circuit breaker for your heating system.
- Press the red reset button on your burner once. If it doesn’t restart, the lines may need to be bled.
If you’ve done all of the above and there’s still no heat, you may need emergency burner service. Call us and we’ll send a technician.
